 | | ABOUT
Every time I look through the viewfinder on my camera, a world of originality and self expression opens its doors. A writer’s voice is his pen and linguistics, whereas my voice is my camera and the world as seen through a lens. I've always been drawn to the abstract, so my photos speak of this. My main objective is to show a new perspective to viewers of common scenes through experimentation with composition, color, and insight. I seek creative innovation within old contexts. This interest often results in surreal imagery in my work that covers a wide range of subject matter. Reflections are common; however they can communicate a sense of abstraction, and the surreal. I am captivated by how commonplace objects consisting of glass, streets, and buildings, with how many different feelings and emotions you can feel by which way you look at that particular subject. I believe in the importance of discovering truly new perspectives in imagery. Through my camera, I wish to share a new original and unique view of the world around us that many people may not ordinarily see.
There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.
